Let’s Take Control of Our Life and charge towards our Papa'dreams!

All Veterans (the one they give their life and the ones who are

among us now) give their lives to give us freedom and today is

Memorial Day, we Salute them from the bottom of our hearts.

Our sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who have served to give us our freedoms.

Today post is a tribute to all Veterans from everywhere around the Globe.

We are free to take control of our life… and doing all we can

1463018_1392837210955657_321368280_nright now, this moment to make it happen, is a must…

Before going deeper into Taking Control of Our Life, here is a piece of legend as an encouragement.

The Legend of the Echo

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.

Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: “AAAhhhhhhhhh!!!”

To his surprise, he hears a voice repeating: “AAAhhhhhhhhh!!!”

Curious, he yells: “Who are you?”

He receives the answer: “Who are you?”

Angered at the response, he screams: “Coward!”

He receives the answer: “Coward!”

He looks at his father and asks: “What’s going on?”

The father smiles and says: “My son, pay attention.”

imagesAnd the father screams to the mountain: “I admire you!”

The voice answers: “I admire you!”

Again the man screams: “You are a champion!”

The voice answers: “You are a champion!”

The boy is surprised, but does not understand.

Then the father explains: “People call this an ECHO, but really this is LIFE.

It gives you back everything you say or do.

Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.

If you want more love in the world,

Create more love in your heart.

If you want more competence in your team,

Improve your competence.

This relationship applies to everything in all aspects of life.

Life will give you back everything you have given to it.

Your life is not a coincidence. It’s a reflection of you!images (1)

    Hey Nick,

I love your quotes section. It so helps to make your point. We have so much more control of our lives than we’re willing to admit. Once one admits that to themselves they become responsible for the outcome of their life. Perhaps one must let go of how and what they think it should look like and observe the goodness right within their grasp.

    Good stuff, Nick.

Yes, it only takes the awareness of great being we are, according to God Creation…once that is in place the rest come easy..

Hope more and more of us is able to reach that level sooner than later.

Thanks for reading the article and posting a supporting comment.

  6. “Take control” — it’s a choice, a decision one has to make in order to change his life. I’ve seen a lot of people try to do this for their friends or family or love one, only to be disappointed in the end when they’re love one isn’t ready to change yet.

That include my on personal life experience.. still remember when I was much younger and My mother and many others did all their best in the name of “love” to support me, but I must say, most times I just did not follow the advice or even listen to them… well, it was clear I was not ready and look now, I not only want and love to do it to others I love, but I even write about haha :-)

Well, as they say better than never.. and this is what I hope for others who for a reason or another cannot accept that They are the only one who can take control of our life…

  10. Hi Nick!

I love that legend of the Echo! The moral of the story is so true. If we want love, we have to give it. If you want more competence in your team, Improve your competence. Now that really got me!

People sometimes expect too much from others. We first have to look at ourselves honestly and take inventory. Are we loving enough, are we empathetic, do we know our levels of competence. On and on I can go!

Your inspirational quotes are wonderful Nick. Every time I come to visit you, I feel so good and want to thank you for that!

    • Donna,
so happy that you loved the echo legend.. it is a great inspiration story that as you pointed out… it would be nice for all of us to be aware and spread love, gratitude, positiveness, and all what is for the greater good.

Yes, people sometime expect too much but as scholars of positiveness… we only need to understand them as time go on and remember that perhaps we were the same or at the same level at sometime in our life… that is what I love to do (when I can remember and do not loose my focus to the wonderful ego that is always on the alert to take over of the situation haha :-)

Thanks for making my day once again my friend… yes, the inspiration quotes helped.. but knowing that every time you read some of my articles you feel good.. wow, that is more than any one can expect and so HAPPY to be aware.

THANKS so much again for your support and most of all.. for being a friend.

  11. Nick,

I really enjoyed the simplicity of this post. The Echo. Everyone is truly your mirror and how you respond creates more repsonses.

I have been living by the motto that I created: “Where there is love there IS a way,” but there are so many moments when that loving attitude goes out the window. For example, when I am stuck in traffic and I leave space between me and the car in front – and then someone else pulls ahead of me into that space. Or when I am in a restaurant and the food is not arriving or something is wrong – and the waiter is just chatting and not noticing me. I could give lots of examples.

But today I did something loving and I felt so good about it. I went to the local pancake house for breakfast. At a nearby table, I saw this young couple giving the waitress an argument and when she walked away they said they would not leave her a tip. She was my waitress, and very sweet. So when she came to my table I asked what had happened. She explained there had been some problem with the system and that they did not have enough money on their debit card.

So, I told her I was going to give her double my tip just so she would feel a little better. And I did. She smiled and appeared less stressed. And I felt so good being able to make such a small gesture to make another person’s day a little brighter.

Thanks for sharing one of your motto.. “Where there is love there IS a way,”.. I read some similar one but not this one.. thanks again.

ANNNNDDDD THANKS so much for sharing the part of loosing the love out of the window sometime..

Well, I need to say what I learn and hope you read this comment back in the future so you know what I wrote… because this is something others helped me to understand and use it… and hope it will serve you as well.

When something go against what you expect.. remember that expectations ALWAYS bring disappointments..

Ho and the story of the waiter.. wow, you answered your own question as I see it anyway… What ever happened to you at sometime earlier in life, have teach you the lesson to of sharing love.. if your did not experienced something unpleasant your self (like waiting to long for a waiter as they chat away:-) You would not have noticed al what was happening with that couple and you would not go out of your way to support the sweet and young waiter…

Being considerate of others is always a heavenly gesture.. THANKS for sharing.. that was wonderful.

  17. silviu says:

    Hello Mr. Nick,

It is important to make the link between Past and Present. The past builds our present and the present builds the future. All those wonderful people who gave their life for freedom actually built the world we live in today.

This idea must be constantly repeated all over the place. That’s because there are people who despise the past and think only to the future. They want to build the future from scratch each and every time.

A solid future is not possible without a real dialog between the present and the past. Sometimes people don’t understand that when we gain something (and we call it progress) we lost something else (an achievement of the past).

Many times in history the future was build after some intelligent people meditated upon the past and extracted a big lesson from there. Then they applied it to the present conditions and built a better future.

Nice story about the echo and life. Inspiring. Thank you

    Have a wonderful day

    • Yes, Silviu,
you are correct, I agree with you that the past build the present.

Totally correct that all who give their life for freedom deserve a lot more that what we can offer.. and I hope they will receive it from GOD..

As you already know very well.. yes, how can be any future if we do not have a past???

Is to bad that many people not get it.. I but I was in a similar position many years a go.. so I learn to accept others at what ever level they are knowing that we all have a past and all of us will have a future.

You done your homework very well Silviu, you researched the great people of the past and got to know and understand more than what is considered to be normal to society.. we should do this often and more of us.. so we can get out of the ignorance that we are in..

THANKS so much for stopping by to read the article and for posting such profound comment here for me and others to benefit from.
